MicroGate Systems: Products - SyncLink SDLC Adapters for PCOMM

The SyncLink GT (pictured), SyncLink GT4, and SyncLink PCMCIA SDLC adapters support SNA/SDLC connections between IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM) and SNA host computers. The single and 4-port versions support data rates up to 2.048 Mbps, while the PC Card supports line speeds up to 128Kbps and higher.

SyncLink adapters are designed to link X86 computers running Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 and IBM PCOMM to SNA host computers via WAN services such as T1 (1.544 Mbps), FT1 (n*64 Kbps), E1 (2.048 Mbps), ISDN(64/128 Kbps), DDS (56/64 Kbps), and PSTN (to 28.8 Kbps).
Through its serial data interface, which can be configured as V.35, RS-232 or RS-422/485 (RS-530, RS-449, X.21), SyncLink adapters cable directly to data communications equipment such as high-speed synchronous modems, digital service CSU/DSUs, and satellite and RF modems. Available conversion cables are required for V.35, RS-449, RS-530, and X.21 applications.
SyncLink cards feature Plug and Play configuration of adapter resources, including I/O base address and interrupt request level. The number of adapters that can be installed is limited only by the number of available PCI or PCMCIA slots.
To verify installation or test the SyncLink adapter at any time after installation, comprehensive board-level diagnostics can be activated within the Control Panel and Device Manager.
