The virtual circuits properties page configures virtual circuits and logical adapters. Logical adapters are groups of virtual circuits that appear to Windows as a single network adapter. If you define multiple logical adapters, Windows treats each logical adapter as a separate network adapter.
The left side of the page is a tree control that shows all configured logical adapters and all virtual circuits assigned to each logical adapter. To configure a logical adapter or virtual circuit, click on the item in the tree control with the left mouse button. All configurable settings for the item will be displayed to the right of the tree control. Only the settings that are commonly set by the user are displayed by default. To display advanced settings for an item click on the Show Advanced button. Modification of the advanced settings is rarely necessary. Before changing any advanced settings be sure you are familiar with the function of the setting.
To view the virtual circuits assigned to a logical, adapter click the left mouse button on the plus “+” sign to the left of the adapter item icon, in the tree control. This will expand the branch of the tree control that contains the assigned virtual circuits.
